I first read this as ‘do you have a pdf version of admiller?’ and I was like um I don’t think you can get PDFs of people….
but no sorry.
I made a terrible mistake in the ask about The Luckiest playlist earlier today. The links on the master post and in chapter 7 no longer work as MegaUpload has been taken from us (RIP). However, wordplay did answer an ask about it a while back with the track listing which you can find here.
Hope that helps those of you that we’re trying to find it!
I’m not sure where you can find the playlist but the author’s tumblr is here.Edit: the playlist is linked in the master post and then again in chapter 7.
Thank you to all the lovely authors who have filled in the gaps for this episode and given us Kurt’s and Blaine’s sometimes dirty, but mostly loving thoughts about the *things* that happened in ‘I Do’.
We’ve got a couple of questions like this, our list of favourite fics is linked in our sidebar under ‘Stories That Move Us’.
Title: The Luckiest
I don’t even know where to begin with this fic. A long time ago when we were just starting out with our little blog, we divided up our most favourite fics and promised the rec of The Luckiest to blazer (who has now disappeared) because she apparently loved it the most. After seeing the wedding episode today and getting klaine-at-wedding-feels and rereading this fic, there was no way I could let it remain rec-less and leave the few of you who haven’t read it yet uninformed and in the dark.
So, the story - Tina sends out an email to all her nearest and dearest to inform them of her marriage to David (yes, Warbler David - it sounds weird but trust me, once you read it you’ll realise there’s nothing more perfect than Datina (Tivid?)) and the consequent wedding planning boot camp that is to be held at Rachel’s dads’ holiday home. Having had a bad break up with Blaine in high school, Kurt is initially concerned about spending a week in a house with his ex boyfriend (who is David’s best man, duh) but he puts his fears aside to be there for Tina. When Blaine arrives, Kurt is immediately drawn to him and after a couple of conversations, is right back where he left off in high school. What follows is the most beautiful story I’ve ever read, I….I’m speechless. The title of the fic is from the song, The Luckiest by Ben Folds and even if you don’t read the fic (which I would judge you for because, why not…) not ever listening to The Luckiest is the worst life decision you could make.
I think it took so long for us to rec it because no one knows quite how to sum The Luckiest up. It’s what makes me okay with the canon break up because, in this fic at least, klaine 2.0 is so much better and loving and mature and meaningful than the first time around.
You take my breath away - Coffee.
It’s literally the first rec on our page, you would’ve read/glanced at it before getting to that post.
But just incase, you can find that fic here.
yes that is why we:
- Label them with Complete or WIP in the little description thing at the top of our recs
- Tag all recs with complete or wip
- Made it the first category on the tags page
Title: All My Instincts
Just kidding about the other fic, I found the real Anderberry fic I was looking for. (I wasn’t sure about it because it wasn’t NC-17 and it was on ff.net so yeah but yay this is it for reals, and it’s excellent).
I haven’t read it in a bit but so here is the author’s summary: In which Blaine and Rachel are siblings, Hiram and Leroy are their dads, and Kurt does not expect that meeting Rachel’s younger brother will challenge what he knows to be true about being gay in highschool in Lima, Ohio.
Oh, there you are. I’ve been looking for you forever - Scarf
